Sunlight dishwashing liquid for $0.50, Johnson's Scrubbing Bubble Sprayer for $0.99 and Listerine's for $0.96

SHOPPER'S
  • It was the last day for the free softlips yesterday so I tried to get some for the last time. I noticed that they have already changed the price to its regular price and just left the French Vanilla flavor. I wonder if they would have given it for free if I brought it on the cashier and point out what they have in flyers if they scan it wrong! Anyways, I still grabbed 2 so that's still $9.98 savings.
REXALL
  • I just grabbed this Listerines for $0.96 cents each.  It was on Red Tag at Rexall City Place Downtown but I don't remember seeing it on their flyers. I don't know till when will this sale be. Regularly priced at $4.99 that's  $8.06 savings
  • Bought Pamper's Baby wipes though I don't have a baby. I think it'll come in handy during camping. It was on sale for $3.99(reg. $5.99) less $1 coupon = $3.00 savings
ZELLER'S
  • The best tip for this week 's deal was the Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Sprayer which was on sale for  $5.99(reg. -$8.99). This was shared by Frugal Edmonton Mama with a printable coupon for $5 off that can be found on her Blogsite. Meaning it will just be $0.99 each. The only catch is that it expires Sunday March 20. So I went to Zeller's twice but had no luck. The saleslady says I can have a raincheck for the weekend sale but I might not be able to use the coupon coz it expires soon.
  • So I ended up buying 2 Windex  glass cleaners with coupons from rightathome(Buy 1 glass cleaner Get 1 multisurface cleaner). But the cashier says that they have to charge me for the pricier one which was the multisurface cleaner at $3.79. Anyways it's still $5.98 savings
  • Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaning gel was on sale for 2/$6(reg-3.99) with the rightathome coupon of BOGOF Toilet Duck that's $7.96 savings
WALMART
  • This can't be happening I might miss the best deal of the week. So my hubby and I went to Walmart, pricematched the Scrubbing Bubbles sprayer and used the $5 off coupon. I bought 6 for $5.94 so it's $48 savings.
  • Forgot I still have a BOGOF of the Toilet cleaning gel so I grabbed another 2 = $6
  • Then I bought 1 Sunlight Dishwashing liquid which was on sale for $1.50 - $1 coupon, paid 50 cents.= $1 plus $3 savings for the Gain Laundry detergent that I bought.
Not to mention there are other items that was on sale but not with coupon.
Total Savings for this week more than $92.98 KACHING!

Softlips for Free, Smartrinse for $.29cents and Gillette Shave Gels for $.33cents each

Went to Polo Park and had these sweet deals.
  • Bought 2 touque's with a regular price of $15 each. It was already reduced price plus the Bay was having an added 50% off. So instead of paying $30 I only paid 6.99 for the 2 of them. That's $23.01 savings.
  • Thanks to Grocery Alerts tip. The softlips was on sale already for $2 at Shoppers, with a printable coupon I got 4 of them all FREE. That's $8 savings from a product that's already on sale. My daughter likes it too.
  • Also at Shoppers the Smartrinse was on sale for $3.29, with a $3 off coupon from Save.ca, I paid $.29 cents = $3 savings
  • Zellers had the Royale Bathroom Tissue on sale for $5 from it's reg. price of $8.99. Less $1 from Gocoupon.ca that's a $4.99 savings
  • Thanks Frugal Edmonton Mama's tip: Gillette Shave Gel was on sale for $2 from the regular price of $3.99. I bought 3 less $5 when you buy 3 Gillette products from Brandsaver.ca. I paid $1 for 3 Shave Gels so that's just 33.33 cents each = $10.97 savings.
  • That's already $50.06 SAVINGS right there and there. I also have others savings from items without a coupon but just finding where it sell less like Kool Aid is on sale at Shopper's for $2.49 from it's reg. price of $3.97. Loreal's hair mousse and hair spray for just $1.92 each.
Another KACHING week ;D

Greenworks value pack for $2.47 at Walmart

Okay, so there's not much of a coupon thing for me this week. But this Greenworks value pack of dishwashing liquid and All purpose cleaner at Walmart is not that bad. At $3.97 less $1.50 from websaver.ca coupon makes it just about $1.24 each item. That's still saving with a product that I love to use. Easy on Mother Earth plus dishes are really greaseless after washing. Other savings I had was at Zeller's where I bought  Kool Aid jammers  for $1.67 a box that's 40% savings and again at Walmart, Ensure was on sale for $8 instead for their regular price of $11.97 other store even had it at $13.98 as regular price. Another good thing they had a limit of six instead of just 4.

So that's still some Kachings !

More than $33.37 saved this week

These are some of the stuffs I bought this week.
  • 2 12 rolls of Royale Bathroom Tissues (reg. price - 8.99) on sale at Shoppers for  4.99, less $1 coupon = $5 savings for each
  • Royale Facial Tissue (reg price - 3.99) on sale at Shoppers for 2.99, less $1 coupon = $2 savings
  • Head and shoulders shampoo was 5.99 less 2.50 coupon = $2.50 savings plus FREE Razor
  • Thinsation was just 2.27 at Walmart with Buy 1 Take 1 coupon = $2.27 savings
  • The best of it all are Ziploc bags which was on sale for $2 at Walmart. With  Buy 2 save $4 coupon I got  4 boxes of Ziploc Bags for FREE
  • Not to mention I found Buy 1 Take 1 coupons for Knorr products at Lucky Superstore last week. So I used them for some Sidekicks and OXO chicken cubes.
All in all KACHING

Basically free ;D

FREEBIES :D
Last week these are the basically free stuff that I got.
  • Thinsations sample just arrived by mail. I got them by liking it at Facebook plus it has a Buy 1 Take 1 coupon along with it
  • Lysol and NYC eyeliner are Buy 1 Take 1 at Rexall's Drug Store.
  • Milk 2 Go was just $1 at Wal-Mart. I have a Buy 1 Take 1 coupon so that's a pretty good deal. Also at Wal-mart, Sidekicks was just $1.25, I found some coupon at Lucky Supermarket for any Knorr products as Buy 1 Take 1.
This is fun. It's like treasure hunting. It might not be as huge as the Extreme Couponers but hey, I'm just starting. Freebies are always fun, but  savings for some stuffs that we normally buy anyways are a great help to our budget. I'll try to update my blog on sales and coupons that I am interested at as soon as I can next time.

Birth of a Blogger

Uhhm, let's see how this new blogging thing will work for me. I admit,,,I'm one of those people who were left behind by this new hype. Now I want to try this with the hopes of being able to help others to save with their groceries. I live at Winnipeg and hopefully this will help my fellow peggers.
